Amazed
Mesmerized by this mystery
My heart beats the sound of her name
My voice breathes a soft whisper
A whisper of beauty unveiled
I see her face and wonder
At how so lovely a woman
Could smile at such as I
Is it compassion
Is it pity
Is it love
I need not know
As long as those smiling eyes
Always look up when I am near
That I may gaze into their beauty
And wonder
