Scribble Jam 2007 Update

I'm getting really excited about this. The line up is looking really nice. Just waiting to get a couple confirmations and we can leak some info. Expect our first line up announcement next week. We'll be announcing about 10 of our main acts by mid next week!!

-NEW ADDITIONS to the main event: Looking to add a couple new things to the event.

One is still being worked out and will probably be announced next week as well.

The other new thing is our very first PRODUCTION BATTLE. I'm working out the details to how it will go down and I will get that info posted as well. I'm planning on making it where the producers have to bring their own samplers and produce the track on location. I've got some interesting ideas to how that will take place.... :) Producers get your skills up!!!!

-PRE LIM BATTLE TOUR DATES

As far as the tour goes. This year we are doing it a little differently. We will be hitting key markets and in each city we'll be booking a local headliner and opening act. I've pretty much got all the groups booked for that. Of course I'll be there to host and manage all the battles (and maybe even rock the turntables). Plus we'll have "auditions" for all local producers to be considered to represent their city!!!! Bring your hottest beats!!

The cities as of now are: NEW YORK, LA, SAN FRAN, CHICAGO, & MPLS

We'll consider other cities if we get serious offers from promoters/venus so if you want us in your city make it happen, on the professional level.... :)

There's also a couple other festivals that have expressed interest in having Scribble Pre Lim battles that are being worked out that may happen. The ones closest to confirmation are HAWAII & MICHIGAN.
