Last night, we had rib patty sandwiches for supper. Since I was not sure the grandkids would eat that, I wanted something else to go with it. I wanted something quick and easy. So I started searching the refrigerator and shelves.
We had some leftover spaghetti. I had heard someone tell me before that they had added cheese and then baked it. That got me started thinking.
I got the following items from the refrigerator and shelf:
Spaghetti
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
1 can tomato sauce (may not require an entire can)
1 can diced tomato with basil and oregano
2 tsp Italian seasoning
Mix all ingrediants together in one large bowl. Add more shredded cheese and spices to suit your individual taste. Water will cook out of this as it cooks, so do not mix it too wet.
Since I was using the oven already, mine was baked at 450 degrees. In about 20 minutes, this was bubbly hot and delicious! If a cheese topping is desired, sprinkle more cheese on top during last five minutes of cooking.
