2 C. Jiffy Baking Mix
2/3 C. milk
1 tsp garlic salt
1/3 C. shredded or cubed mozzarella (or cheese of your choice)
15 thin slices of cheese to top biscuits
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Stir the baking mix, shredded cheese and garlic salt together. Mix inthe milk until well blended. Drop by tablespoon-full onto a verylightly greased baking sheet.
Lay a thin slice of cheese on top of each biscuit. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Makes approx 15 biscuits.
Thesebiscuits are really good with spaghetti or some other Italian meal inthe place of garlic bread. They're crumbly, light and melt in yourmouth.
* Couple of yummy additions: 1 tsp red pepper flakes, 1-2 tsp parsley, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp onion powder *
