What do I have to do to get my articles published in the intended format? I pasted from WordPad as instructed and I STILL LOST THE FORMATTING!
WHY?

There are several factors that can influence font facing in articles. If you are using Internet Explorer and Wordpad you stand the best chance of your formatting coming out the way you want (unless you code in HTML). No solution is perfect though.
What font style are you using (Arial, Georgia, etc.)?
Are you pasting into the Gather editor using Ctrl+V, or using the 'Paste from Word' button on the toolbar?
Yes, but it is possible that pasting directly into the article (Ctrl+V for windows) and using the 'Paste from Word' button on the toolbar will provide different results. That wasn't always the case, but I haven't tested this in awhile.
Good luck!
I just saw your comment...sorry for the delay. The 'Paste from Word' button basically just copies the content from your clipboard (like Ctrl+V) BUT retains any formatting unique to Word. So if you are copying from WordPad, it will paste that content, and not the content you originally copied from Word.
I hope that helps clear it up.
