New Gather Glitch Found

I think this has something to do with this morning's upgrade. I am able to view most articles and images just fine, but for certain articles or images, I received the following error message:

 fileId:3096224744073749;size:full;

 

 

 

 

 

 After I clicked "OK", the "Page cannot be displayed" error was displayed. But if I try to view other articles, they are working just fine. So I think there's something wrong about these particular articles or images. I hope the Gather management team can figure out what's going on with them.

Selene, do you have norton utilities?

If so do a Windoctor scan and repair your problems, and then it will work properly. There are some new unseen security measures that causes your internet not to work properly until you fix them.

Then it should work fine. That is what I ahd to do....

That is happening to me too..... But, if you click "back" it will take you to the page that you wanted to see without problems! : )

I do not use Internet Explore due to having a lot of issues not just with this site but period with it. I use Mozzila or something like that I will look it up and get back to you.

I'm not buying that the problem is with my computer. I've had the same problem described above but only with Gather and it just started after this morning's maintenence shutdown.

I read this a few minutes ago and have now encountered the problem on some articles. Appreciate the above advice to click on "back" as that works. I am thinking that hopefully, gather will correct this as it is obviously with their site.

All, this is indeed a problem with this mornings upgrade and it affects users of Internet Explorer 7. This will be corrected later this afternoon.

Tony - I am on I.E. 6.0, not 7.0.

It is the afternoon now, so hopefully it's been fixed.
