It is cold again today with a -5 and windchill of -19, but the sum makes it seem warmer.

 

The sun shines brightly

Making  cold temperatures

Seem less threatening.

14 degrees here, know what you mean about the sun making thing seem warmer. Bright and sunny out there now, feels a lot warmer that 14 degreees. Keep warm if can.
