Winter is getting on my nerves. I just know I am going to write a real good post, but spring has to come first, that is my excuse and I am sticking to it..I hope his shadow is not there. You know he probably should be told this outcome will determine his popularity. Maybe that will help. Thanks for reminding me. And here is to spring, and a different kind of Cardinals making it.. Oddly enough, the huge lights they put up around Phil guarantee that he will cast a shadow. And wouldn't you know it, the official end of winter on the calendar is 6 weeks away.

It happens every year and every year they pull a poor little groundhog from his heated burrow just so he can see his shadow. Yes it does repeat, but so does a lot of other things, like taxes!

Happy Groundhog Day. I agree David, I think we get 6 weeks of winter regardless. I am surprised Hallmark hasn't starting making Groundhog Day cards. Oh, and if they have and I haven't seen them, don't tell me!!!! Have a great day everyone.

predict .The true prognosticator is of course General Beauregard Lee of Georgia,and I'm sure he'll predict his usual " early spring ". Damn rodents !

Personally, this winter seems to be moving along faster than last winter. But I'm willing to bet it is because I have been so busy lately. I'm ready for a day at the beach. One good thing about winter is that it gives me time to store up my time off. I'm at three weeks off, and I'm patiently waiting for them.
