I swore I’d never let any birthmother into my life, but then Mom died of ovarian cancer and my birthmother Val found me through my mom's obituary. Hard to argue with fate. Harder still to let go of childhood promises, even when you discover everything you dreamed of being is part of who you are. This memoir explores what it means to be a mother and what it means to lose one. And so Lost and Found: a Memoir of Mothers is for anyone who’s ever loved and lost—or maybe even found—a mother.
Lost and Found: A Memoir of Mothers was released today by North Star Press. It's available on Amazon.com or through my website, www.katevogl.com.
