They work harder than the energizer bunny, they've been together more than twenty years, they've made a difference to their community as decent, hard-working, generous people.
Who's in that car that just zipped by on it's way to yet another opportunity? It's Margie and Steve, our neighborhood super heroes!
What are their incredilbe super powers? They are a couple who love, respect and sacrifice for each other and their children after more than 20 years together. Margie has been a Girl Scout leader for most of those twenty years, works as a daycare worker during the early part of the day and takes care of a special needs child for a neighbor in the afternoons. She and Steve have just added "grandparents" to their incredible list of things to do. At one point, they were in charge of youth activities for a church they weren't even members of.
Car break down? Need a lawn mower? Kids can't get to a field trip unless someone can pick them up? Have to plan an emergency baby shower? Call Margie and Steve. They are the quiet super heroes of our neighborhood and all of us are grateful for their community service and example.
