My 2008 Writing Resolutions

Welcome Lists, Lists, and More Lists members and anyone who should happen across this list.

Kimberly Ripley challenged writers to come up with a list of plans for the year - resolutions, goals, dreams, etc. She was pretty successful with her list from 2007, and it does seen like I get further with a plan than without so here goes...

Outline the novel I will write for NaNoWriMo 2008
Read 50 romance novels in 2008 to help ground myself in the genre - Completed!
Assemble my book of Calendar Girl Poems
Find one non-fiction topic to research for later book inclusion
Find a market to write a column or have regular submissions Completed!

Good luck with them in the coming year!
I'm still reeling over the first NaNoWriMo I did last time. Are you doing some of the things they listed throughout the year?

Good for you the way you hopped right to it after reading Kimberly's article. With that sort of drive, you should be successful with these resolutions, too!

This isn't my group, but I think it's a great idea! Now, I'm off to do my own list of writing goals. Thanks for sharing yours and good luck with your writing. (This year on NaNoWriMo, I only got to 300 words, so I have some work ahead of me in 2008,)
