clouds, the day
after the day of light
and the mist rose
from the earth
and the rain fell
upon it
dampen the blows
and to magnify the
unrest below
now calm
quietude before
the loud noises
soon to
follow
and the earth
perspired, salt
from her brow
and the sky
mourned
habeas corpus
rest in peace
for the seed
buried
soon to awaken
hath not fallen
and the stars
drawn down
speak of eternity
silent witnesses
unspoken
the moon
in darkness
waits.

You really are terrific!
after the day of light
and the mist rose
from the earth
and the rain fell
upon it.."
I love your writing. It is intense!
in darkness waits
dreaming of birthtides
of painful parturition
there are but two tines of pain:
death and life.
I loved these lines:
and the earth
perspired, salt
from her brow
and the sky
mourned
And the sky mourned...that's beyond beautiful.
I completely agree with Breanne...
and the earth
perspired, salt
from her brow
and the sky
mourned
I've only been writing poetry since Aug. of this year. and when I read yours I am truely humbled. You are the Master :) Any other skills baby ;)
