Living through a Traumatic Brain Injury/Surgery, coma, and relearning everything over AGAIN

Dear to whom this may concern:

We the people who have or are going through some kind of head injury are suffering much pain and certain "state of mind" that most people who have never experienced a head injury will never know what we are truly feeling inside of us...

I had a Subdural Hematoma and had to relearn everything over at the age of 21. It has been several years since my accident, but I am learning something new everyday.

I lost my job last year and decided to write/publish a book called, "My Miracle" about my whole life, up to this point. The reason I made this choice is because I HAD to tell my story. I know people are going through what I had to go through. I know family and friends have to live with this current and past outcome of a loved one who experiences a head injury. A Traumatic Brain Injury can be fatal or life changing for a person.

My life will never be the same. This TBI has changed me into a man with a reason and purpose to succeed and share my story to help others. I very much love life and am very happy to be able to type this on the computer to tell you this...

Harper S. I have to say you ARE SO RIGHT! TBI's are very tough on a person and people who surround this person going through this injury. I went through a lot, thank GOD, to come out on top! Thank you for what you said to me! You are SO right about TBI's. They are emotional, mental, and can physically take you to the end of the road... That is why the person experiencing this HAS to be strong, but also family and friends HAVE to be strong for the support of this loved one... Take care, Harper S.
