One small pebble
Ripples the whole of a still pond,
Soft-nosed ivy
Pries the shingles apart,
The tree root
Plugs a pipeline,
Willow shoots, well watered
Split a millstone in two.
And then…
And then there are words
Yes, small things do count.
If I could be all things
How long would it be?
Before all things
Are no longer enough?
And if I were to lose everything
What would I have left?
And what would it mean
In Eternity?
Is living forever a blessing?
If there is nothing
In the Forever to live for?
Is any curse more sufferable
Than eternal loneliness?
All pain numbs with time
Loneliness only increases.
Take heed therefore of the smallest of things.
For yes…
Small things do count. By Darren Lynn

This is poignant~and timely
You think the sheeple will recognize this simple point that will eventually have global repercussions ?
Thanks Darren! You've warmed the coccles of my heart! :)

"Benevolence,
Thank you for all the wonderful things
That fill every day,
Like wine,
young love,
Paved streets,
A crowded sidewalk.
Thank you also for those things
We, in our arrogance
Declare to be bad,
Like wine,
young love,
Paved streets,
A crowded sidewalk.
And thank you most of all
For the ordinary,
Uneventful days,
When we can be appreciative,
Free of the corrupting influence
Of reward and punishment.
Bravo, Ron! Well said!!!
