Well, we've had quite the influx of new CD's in to the household as of late, so we're working our way through the following:

The Kills - Midnight Boom
Despite what 2/3 Musicheads had to say about it, I agree with Mr. DeVille in saying that it's a darned good record.

We Are Scientists - Brain Thrust Mastery
Available only as an import from the UK so far, but the Mrs. had to have it. It's not as raucous as "With Love and Squalor", but there are some good tunes on it.

Sons and Daughters - This Gift
Heard them on The Current and caught some of their SXSW "in studio" for TC, and fell in love with them.

Also, have been boning up on Eels, as they're coming to town on Monday night at Pantages. Should be an interesting show. E tends not to stick to his arrangements from the records, so it could get weird.

In Strict Confidence---> Exile Paradise--while not quite as outstanding as their 2004 release 'Holy', it is still a great album.

Emigrate---> Emigrate----finally got it! There's some excellent guitar work from Rammstein lead guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe, and overall it's a decent debut. Worth a listen. Surprisingly, it's in English.
