Call me a Cloud Cult fan (thanks to The Current)

I am really excited to see that many Gatherers have begun to share their music here by posting a video of their performance here for the community to enjoy.  As I browsed today, I discovered that our friends in public radio, at The Current, have been sharing performances recorded in their studios in their Gather group called Minnesota Music.

Several of them are terrific.  One of my favorites is Cloud Cult, performing their song Pretty Voice.  Call me a fan.  And someone let me know if they are coming to Boston anytime soon... we'll organize a gathering.

Cloud Cult is awesome! TC introduced me to their stuff, actually. They have played here on occasion, a couple of months ago I think.

I'm thrilled to see The Current publishing videos of their guests. Yo La Tengo is a favorite. I'm looking forward to more of their content. And it's a great way to discover musicians I am not familiar with. I'm off to check out Cloud Cult.

Ok- so Jen just walked by to tell me that Cloud Cult is here in Boston next Thursday at the Middle East (thanks to Chris and the tourfilter folks). Who's in?

thanks for the lead to that video Tom, i'm really enjoying their stuff (i just downloaded some of it). and i'm a sucker for a good cellist in the mix (e.g. Damien Rice)

Hey Tom just wanted to thank you guys for the $20 Borders card. It arrived much faster than expected or than I have heard...thumbs up and thanks for the great work here!

I do not have sound connected to my pc, but I am a fun of visual clouds. Indeed it is in Gather that I noticed clouds in so many pictures of gatherians. I started photographing them myself and also placing them in my paintings as never before!

Gosh Choef, this is good stiff. It renews my resolve to get speakers going om this PC> It is a challeng. Hey, I just was presented with the best darn acoustic guitar I ever had my hands on. It is a masterpiece. I will try to practice more often, andd try to get with the program. hope all the fellow Romans are well. Gather is maintaining the foir star web rating given on search engine ratings. Lots of gatyherites have stards. Later!
