Where are you now?

One of the most interesting things I've found with the people who used to work at Lotus is that so many of you have gone on to do so many interesting things - some within the high-tech space and some totally unrelated.

For me, I'm still in high-tech. I just recently left the marketing director at GlassHouse Technologies when they eliminated the position. Right now, I'm doing some marketing consulting with Yankee Group where I'm filling in for the marketing director who is on maternity leave and doing some marketing communications projects for eCopy. My goal is to get back to a full-time marketing position soon.

Still in Boston..still drive a Jetta (although it's a new, fully loaded one)...still single.

Where are you now?

Ex-Loti Frank Moss is the reigning science fiction charlatan, having been recently appointed Director of the MIT Media Lab. A fun job if ever there was one.

At IBM in Lexington, working with a few of the same people as fifteen or twenty years ago. It's a small world.

I've been able to break out of tech to some degree. I'm in the process of building a new retail concept store just 1 mile south of the Wrentham Outlet Mall. 2 separate buildings over 20,000sq'. Still consulting in tech for the retail space.

Carole: thanks for organizing AXLE. I left Lotus in November 1991, after working in the OneSource information unit. I went to work at Harvard Business School and then joined Strategic Interactive group (later renamed to Digitas: www.digitas.com ). Like others, I was surprised to get the data breach notification from IBM that IBM had lost my personal data. I didn't think that Lotus would archive my personal data for 4 years and then IBM would archive it for another 12 years. This presents lots of problems, which I blog about at http://ivebeenmugged.typepad.com
