I've been considering writing a book on picnics and have completed what I call a mockup for the TOC and first chapter. I'd like comments from anyone interested in food or writing. There is a link on the second page and last page to a guest book where I'm collecting comments and email links from anyone in progress reports if I decide to continue the project.
First, my apologies for providing a link instead of the text itself, but the document will give you a better feel for the book layout I'm thinking in terms of. Second, the link is to a Word file with embedded images and it loads slowly -- even with cable.

I don't know what's going on with the link, it's the standard one to my blog. The other link goes straight to the file.
Got it, thanks.
Thanks.
Also, did get to the download of your sample chapter. Loved it! The photo and the words are just perfect! Wanted more, btw.
Thanks.
I e-mailed you with some suggestions and editorial contents. I really enjoyed it.
I saw that. Thanks so much!

Absolutely. Although lavish is also great fun.
> i could not link up to the comment pages.
That's odd.
As always, your writing sparkles. A wonderful combination of superb recipes, beautiful pictures and lovely memories. I'd buy this book!
