Do you know what you was doing 21 years ago today? I do, I was 18 years old and just gave birth to my first child. I had a rough pregnancy and had Toxemia bed rest most of the last 3 months of it. The morning of May 31, 1988 I was told to be at the hospital and they would induce my labor. After trying and having contractions I really didn't feel they came in and broke my water. It showed he had already had a bowel movement within womb. While the doctor was in there his heart beat stopped and they rushed me for emergency c-section. My now ex husband made it to the hospital right before they took me to surgery. He was born weighing 9 lbs 8 oz most precious little boy I ever seen in my life.
The pictures didn't turn out to good because I don't have a scanner so I took them with my camera.
This was him at a month old one of my favorites of him.

Here he was 4 with his new baby sister, Megan. Him and her are still to this day very close. He always had her spoiled she use to ask for a Popsicle if mom said no big brother would go get it for her lol
He had uncontrolled Epilepsy from about 4 months. Actually we think he was born with it I always thought maybe because of the Toxemia I had. A doctor he had agreed it was a good possibility. This was Kelly his seizure alert dog he got in the 3rd grade. She use to go every place with him. She is gone now, and he is now controlled and has been since he was about 14.
Nicholas now loves to play guitar and can also play the drums. He was in a band and looking to join another one. I am very proud of him he has came a long ways. He does welding work, has a girlfriend, his own place and turned into a wonderful adult. He has showed so many how you can do anything you set your mind to, and I am proud of him for that. He is exactly the son I could always dream of.

Yes they are from my first marriage. My daughter is 17 now. Yes Nicholas has, he is very strong.

My youngest turns 21 the 4th of june. We going out with her and her live-in b/f fri to celebrate.
Wow, i'm my mom's baby and I turned 21 last year! lol. And I was induced last year, but had to have an emergency c-section because my pelvis was too small. They didnt know until he went into fetal distress and then they cut me open. Having a planned one this time!! yay!!!

Nicholas use to beg for cottage cheese every day. In fact many times after bad seizures all we could get him to eat.

Yes it is I cried over joyness for him and yet for the time gone.
so he grew out of the epilepsy?
No Georgiana he is just controlled on medicine now. We took him in the 3rd grade to Rush Hospital in Chicago to see if he was a candidate for surgery. We was there for a month the longest month of our life. The scar is to deep in the brain to do anything without leaving him a vegetable. Its a miracle in itself for him to just be controlled by medicine.
