Weekend America: Culture Clash

What conflict? Mr. Baker has the right to do whatever he wants. I'm all for the freedom of religion, too bad Islam doesn't allow for freedom for anyone.

This is a common threat in rural America, its not just anti-Islamic. Farmers would protest some kind of development or some kind of zoning restriction and they would threaten to put in a hog farm. I once actually saw it happen where a resort lake abutted a farming area. The lakers decided to take advantage of a statute which allowed them to extend their jurisdiction two miles outside of their town into the county. One of the local farmers moved his hog farm so that it abutted the town boundary with the prevailing wind wafting directly over the Zoning Commission Chairman's house. LOL. The Muslim should just put up an especially loud automated prayer tower aimed at the farmer's house. Isn't that that the American creed do unto others as they do unto you, or is it do unto others before they do unto you -- I keep getting confused on that point by the Fundamentalist Christians.

If its MR. BAKERS land, then he has a right to do this. Farmers are the ones being crowded out . We need the farmers to eat. The people that want to build there should find another area, more suitable to their taste and let Mr. Baker alone.
