Sisterhood is about more than just friendship. For centuries, women have faced challenges, based on their gender, that they have risen above to create a true sisterhood. Ariana Franklin, author of Mistress of the Art of Death, presents such a heroine. A great mystery, this is the story about a women's struggle to move beyond her gender's limitations and help the greater good.

The issue of women's strengths and our relationships would seem to give added depth to the book.
women have come a long way, but we have so much farther to go. the stimatisim in the workplace is among the biggest hurdles to still get over.
this series of books is a breakthough.
And if, my chance, you allow my credentials for consideration of host, I shall share with you my present work with long-time author, Irving Greenfield, whose latest novel thrusts a Jewish family against a Christian town. I have just finished editing...
Or perhaps I can point you to my review of the Deception Series by Jacqueline Randolph, the last of which (Deception's Legacy) is a beautiful combination of the historical times during the Spanish Inquisition together with an action thriller. I could go on regarding individual book reviews specifically related; however, I'd also add my favorite authors include Patricia Cromwell with her forensic examination activities (and other similar authors); Fay Kellerman, whose mystery novels include a Jewish family which provides much about their daily lives...
Or I could highlight that I read four to six books weekly mostly related to the various genres touched by this book (not including my professional review work)...
The one thing I've never done is host a book club...however, I have written potential interview questions for author interviews...and I believe I have a good grasp of how Gather technology is used in support of this type of activity.
Credentials are because I have a proven record of reading, supporting and promoting female authors - I think it is an important reader role as women!
Either or both--a review and/or host! This reader/writer awaits your decisions!
I have read the synopsis of this book, and it sounds very intriguing!
I would love to review the book and if it's possible I would be delighted to host the book club. There are two reasons for this:
1. I'm a retired literature teacher
2. I belong to a group of 12 women (back in my hometown) that meets every week to discuss literature and issues dealing with our being woman
As a person who believes in the strength of the sisterhood that can happen between women it would be exciting to read and review this book. I currently work with a "sisterhood" of playwrights and would enjoy sharing my thoughts on this book with them and members of Gather.
Thank you so much for these opportunities.
Also I have never been chosen to do this anywhere.
I also find this book very interesting and would love to just read it anyway......:0)
I could take it with me when we go camping later this year! :-)
: )
I googled the book to find out more about it and the story sounds like one I'd really enjoy.
I also love to read. I have a talent for being a leader. I have been told that I could sell ice to an Eskimo. LOL I enjoy people and love to chat with them.
I would also love to read this book for the same reasons listed above. I enjoy reading various kinds of books. I love doing reviews of the books that I read. When I love a book, I get excited and that excitement comes through in my reviews. I love to share my opinion and encourage others to read a variety of books as well.
For this reason, I would love to host the
I've been to Cambridge and Canterbury, too, in my travels (some of the book's setting) and this sounds like a gripping tale.
I also have a book reviewing blog reading room where I post my reviews.
I would be very willing to read this novel and give it a review and ask the author questions during the chat.
Blessings
I would also love to be a book club host!!!
keeping my fingers crossed!
As an aspiring writer, I have never written a book review before. I would absolutely, love to be challenged with this type of writing. I have written both music and movie reviews, and am confident in myself, that I have the ability to write a book review as well.
So in short, I am interested in being entered in this, for the book to read and review.
