How cool would it be to go to rock camp. I grew up watching MTV like millions of other children in America and always wanted to rock out onstageLike Pat Benetar or Aerosmith. Of cousre I have and never had any musical talent , but it was a fun fantasy.
Now there is actually a camp for girls (they have one for Ladies too) to learn how to rock out. There is no requirement of musical ability, but it probably helps to have a interest in music. Willie Mae Rock Camp is a non profit founded in 2004. They offer girls the chance to learn to play musical instruments, songwriting, performance, and how to ROCK OUT! If you know any girls between the ages of 8-18 then check out the website www.williemaerockcamp.org . The camp is inNew York, but has campers from all over, it's very diverse. There is financial help and scholarships available. There is also a camp for adult Women to attend.
