Have you checked your "Done" list lately? I highly recommend this. Scroll through your past few weeks of "To Dos" and see what you crossed-off. These are your Dones.
Is this experience eye-opening? Do you see any trends? Are your Dones "wows" or "whys"? Do you feel like you've accomplished something big or nothing at all?
Now, look at your To Do List. What tasks will make you feel "wowed" if you see them as Dones when you look back at your list next week?
Tips:
- Keep a To Do list.
- Identify the tasks / projects that will give you the biggest ROE (Return on Energy) once completed.
- Dissect your big ROE projects into smaller tasks and schedule them over time on your To Do list.
- Prioritize your To Do list daily- ROE tasks on top.
- Cross-off your Dones.
- Review your Dones at the end of each week. Enjoy the WOW feeling. Bask in your accomplishment.
- Don't worry about the To Dos that are rolling over to next week. Re-prioritize them (ROEs on top).
What's done is done. Go for the WOW!
