Bethann, I read the book twice. It's an amazing story, I recommend it to everyone. The movie is great too, but not as good as the book.

If you liked this book, check out "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by the same author. This book is even better than The Kite Runner!!!

I haven't read the book nor seen the movie. It's on Showtime right now but I haven't had the time to sit down and watch it.

Savo is right. His next book is excellent as well. I read them both so fast, it was impossible to imagine. I wrote a review on this book awhile back. I just loved it. I have a few other reviews on books I just loved also. It was hard to believe the character went through so much. I kept cheering for good things to happen.

I have seen the movie, which is wonderful....but have not read the book. I have no doubt the book is better, for they usually are.

Bethann, the Kite Runner is one of my top ten favorites too! The House of Sand and Fog is up there too. Next on my list to read is A Thousand Splendid Suns also by Khaled H., and I've heard it is even better than Kite Runner! I've seen the movie, and I thought it did a great job of following the book; still it wasn't quite as good as the book for me, but that is usually the case for me.
