Tolliver Lang and Harper Connelly are a very unusual crime-solving pair. Harper was struck by lightning when she was younger, leaving her with the ability to find dead bodies. She and Tolliver, her step-brother, travel around the country making their living finding dead bodies upon request. Grave Surprise is the second book in a series about the pair and there are enough allusions to their background to make me want to go back and read the first book and hope there is another one in the works. The mystery is suspenseful and it's not until the last chapter that you even begin to suspect the identity of the killer. This is a very entertaining read and worth picking up.
