I am now a student again

Now instead of being just a mother and working full time I am also a college student again.  I work the overnight shift in a group home for troubled boys.  I feel that I do not do enough for them and since I had a Bachelors degree in Psychology I decided to go on.  I have been accepted into Liberty University's Masters program in Marriage and Family Counseling.  It will be a lot of hard work but since I have to be awake all night at least I get paid to get my education.  LOL

I am only 32 now but have been out of school for 5 years so this will be a little difficlut for me I think. I am really out of practice at this point.

I am 52 and I am going to CCCTI and this is my 4th semester. I enjoy the classes I take. MY pet peeve is the younger students that don't respect the older students. They may be there to party, but we are there to LEARN. Please respect us for that.

I am also an older student at CCCTI. It's not easy going back to school. And the younger students get mad when you ask alot of questions during class. We are there to learn not party.

Hi, I'm Janet I started college in the winter of 2005,on-line because I have disabilities that keep me home most of the time. I am 58 3/4,I never finished school
but in 1993 I took the GED. I suprised myself.I so far have taken Critical Thinking and aced it 4.0,then Intro to Psychology,3.33,College math 4.0,now The Writing process. I have some cognitive problems which don't help :-) but I do my best.I am having some problems with this class,I'm not in the right "mind frame" I love to write but I write like I talk,rammble,lose track of thoughts,so any help will be appreciated.This is a local community college I go to.
