What are your favorite genres of books?  What is your favorite book you have read?  How many books do you read in a month?  What was the last book you read?

 

My favorite genres are: Science Fiction, Mystery, True Crime, some History, and anything Paranormal like vampires and werewolves.

My favorite book is actually a series.  I love the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.

I usually read between 4 and 6 books.  This month I have only managed 2 but the Forgotten Vioces of World War II took a lot of work to get through.  It was a very good book but very hard to read at times.  This was also the last book I have read.

I just started "What is Mine" by Anne Holt. I graze in the public library and take out whatever appeals to me. I rarely buy fiction because I already own so many books that storage is a problem. I do buy cookbooks - just to read, I don't actually cook. I'm always interested in what other people are reading.

The Outlander series is one of my top picks also the "in Death" collection of J.d. Robb. Due to bills I am now an avid library user.. at least until my next raise.

Second vote for The Outlander series. It has made be a big historical fiction fan.
