Bookcrossing.com is a great site for all book...

Bookcrossing is a website where people get together to share books. They first register their books on the site and then trade and borrow books from each other. They also send books around as bookrings and bookrays. Bookrings strat from one person and then go around to all the people on the list and back to the original person. Bookrays start out with one person and travel through all the people on the list then the last person can keep it or release it. Bookcrossing also promotes releasing book into the wild. This means leaving books with the special BCID number in them in your favorite restaurant or any other place and watch to see who finds the books next. This is great fun. I have had books go to severasl different countries and states. This is for books of all kinds fiction and nonfiction. Here is a link if you would like to check it out.

I have had a few caught in the wild but most I have sent out to people. I wish I had more from wild releases but that's alright. My husband's philasophy is: "As long as the books leave the house I don't care waht you do with them." He calls me a collector or when he really wants me to get rid of some he calls me a hoarder. I will admit to both. LOL
