This was all it took for Gideon's wheels to get turning. Gideon immediately asked to make a frame, though I took a day to find all of the materials.
What we used to make the frames:
- Glow in the dark stars (for walls)
- Glitter glue
- Miracle Bead Bell
- Glow in the dark letter stickers
- Old Manilla Envelope
- Buttons
- Glow in the dark star stickers
- Glow in the dark hands and feet stickers
- Glow in the dark beads (he never used these)
- Glow in the dark ghost confetti
- Repositionable adhesive tabs (found in scrapbooking supply stores)
Our Supplies

How We Made Them:
- I took an old manilla envelope and cut it into frame sized pieces and added a border around it.
- Gideon got out his art kit and scoured it for fun things. He soon decided that he wanted the frame to GLOW, so he used almost all glow in the dark items.
- He chose to glue them with glitter glues rather than the glue stick - your child can use either.
- I helped him tie the bell to the back of the frame and gave him a photo of him and daddy at Circus world to put in there.
- He put four adhesive tabs on the back of the photo and stuck it to the frame
- Gideon added four more tabs to the back of the frame and hung it on his bedroom wall.
- All done!
The Finished Frame

As you can see these are so easy to make and incredibly inexpensive. Ours was made with things we had lying around the house already.
Gideon actually has another one that he started, but he hasn't said that it's done yet, so I'll wait to post that one until after he's finished with it.
