There's a wonderful business in our community called The Cheese Shop. It is run by folks of the Mennonite branch of Chistianity, and it sells a lot of food items in addition to cheese. I love to shop there because they have delicious snack foods that are high in fiber and low in sugar, as well as unusual items, such as Pawn Hoss.
They have been in operation for many year, and relocated several years ago to a newer, larger facility that resembles a super market.
Recently they acquired the space formerly occupied by a coffee shop chain, and opened their own restaurant there. It's called The Cheese Shop Sandwich Shop.
My daughter ate lunch there recently and noticed that one wall was void of any artwork, posters, etc., and she asked the manager if he would be interested in seeing my work and possibly displaying it there. He said he would, and the result is that I have placed three pieces there on consignment.
Here's a new painting that I created for this new location.
These two I moved from the OASIS Gallery and placed then there as well.
Here's how the display looks (it is just inside the shop, by the front door).
I plan to change out the work as the seasons change.

Lynn, the difference between this venue and an art gallery is that people are coming here to eat lunch, not to buy art. So, while it will get more exposure, it may not actually sell like it might in a gallery.
I hope they do, Marilyn!
Flit...Pawn Hoss is a form of Scrapple... it's all the stuff left over from hogs after butchring (ugh), mixed with jellied lard and cornmeal flour, and fried. It's a guaranteed artery-clogger.
you reading my mind, Jimmie?
I hope you are right, Marilyn! :D

Oh,WOW!!! The leaves are sensational!!! I can see that getting into designs for curtains and stationary and ...I can see huge ones on walls!
Do you feel like the ball is rolling faster than you can keep up with? The sky is the limit!!!
Cindy... not yet. But, I am being kept very busy, and that keeps me out of trouble!
:D
JoAnne... I will (and have) paint another "similar" one to one a person likes, but it will be unique and different in some ways. As for prices, all three of these are under $65 each.
Lori! Where have you been?!? So good to hear from you!
