I have no idea. I have several moderated groups, and if it doesn't belong, I will decline it. But pictures I don't have much problem with. I do try to read the tags and the article to see if maybe I can find a way to get it into my group.

I don't know but I wanted to tell you that you MADE MY DAY with your wonderful recollections of Woolworths in a comments section for one of my articles. Thank you so much. You noted how special you felt ordering from a real menu. I remember how special that seemed too. Weren't we so young and innocent back then? Having a menu be the high point of a day..

sometimes articles are declined because they don't match the groups purpose. For example, I have one that focus' on asthma and other respiratory diseases. While I'm lenient with images, I try to keep posts on the topic. When I do that I have to decline some articles. Don't take declines personally, there usually is a very good reason for it happening.

Thanks,Susan.I would be the first person to recognise that my image might not fit the group.But when it specifically points out that new artists are welcome,of all levels;thats the reason for my need for an explanation.My next stop is gather guides.I feel that there should be guidelines for groups and owners.They should have conduct as well as participants.To ignore my request for explanation is rude.It is evident that I need to further the ins and outs of gather.Does this site operate like a flea market?Anything goes?No standards for who is in here? I will get down off my soapbox now.Whenever there is groups of people anywhere,there should be guidelines and common courtesy.it is the opinion out there of several that gather is out of control and has no quality.I will definitely adjust my settings.

I do not recall declining anything of yours from the Gather Artists group, so I can't answer the why for you. I have not gotten an email from you about it either.

The image i had declined was to the Artsee group.I am beginning to think that the group does not exist.I have put out an invite to respond to my question.I have sent a private message to the group owner.Nothing.I think the decline is in direct contradiction to what the group bases its validity.Although it is up to the group owner as to accepting or declining,there should be some rules of protocol.If participants of gather need to follow basic rules;why shouldnt groups and group owners?I guess it comes to a matter of principle;there has to be rotten apples in every basket.Thanks Lori,for your inquiry.

Some groups do come and go. I just wanted to thank you for your comment on my article on heart tests, meds, etc. I really, really appreciate your encouraging words because some people are strictly pro-medication and, with my risk factors taken into consideration, including my recent tests, I think I'm making the right decision. Only time will tell. I have trouble with the wine recommendation, though. Most people would probably love it - not me.

Anyway, THANKS AGAIN. Your words meant so much to me, especially yesterday, which was kind of rough. But today is so much better :)
