These are going to a hospital for premature or terminally ill babies - I am waiting to hear from my sister Pam which hospital it is this time. It is in memory of one of the babies who passed away from Zellweger Syndrome. Hugs & Kisses Crafters is sponsored by the Zellweger Baby Support Network. We send donated handmade items to families who have children with Zellweger Syndrome and we also have donation events every other month where we send items for premature or terminally ill babies to a hospital in the US. Generally, a family who has had a ZS Baby heads up the donation event in memory of their child, taking the items to a hospital that the child was treated in. This hat was a modification of a similar pattern, and I was going to give the link, but when I went to it, the page has been taken down. I will work on writing the pattern and post it soon.
I love them all, but the blue and purple set is my favorite. You do beautiful work! The support group is so helpful to so many parents of sick babies. God bless all of you!
Monica you've done a beautiful job on these pillows. Can I ask what is in the top left corner of each of them? I think it's so great that you and Pam are able to do this to help others who have suffered the loss of a child to Zellweger in memory of the baby that Pam lost. Keep up the great work.
