Thanks to Dawne J's article I was able to apply to host a House Party where I could show the movie, Billy & Mandy's The Big Boogey Adventure™. I sent off the application thinking that there would be no way I'd be selected, but an email I received today changed all that.

I was one of the 1st 3000 people to set up my party page, and I sent off invitations to a ton of people, so it looks like I'll be getting their party package with our very own DVD of the movie to show to all our friends and family and to keep, as well as some other party stuff like paper plates, napkins, decorations and favors. I guess I never would have won a dvd and the other stuff if I hadn't applied for it.

Sounds like fun to me and I just wanted to share this interesting news with all of you. I'm sure my house will be packed to the brim with lots of crazy kids, their parents, food and drinks. Oh yeah, and if anyone lives in the area and wants to come over to see this movie before it's released, just let me know! Hahaha... now wouldn't that be a weird way to meet?

Hi, Jennifer: It's going to be at 5:00 on March 24th, and it's one of those "bring your own favorite dish and we'll provide the drinks" kind of thing. I really don't know how many people will be there. So far it's my husband and I, our 3 kids, our neighbor and her daughter, one of my friends and her 3 kids, and probably a few more adults, probably the kids' grandparents. I invited a LOT of people though!
