A while back I took up an exercise to do a Bob cartoon for a day to see how long I could do it. I did thirteen and stopped. I had fun. For housekeeping purposes I am putting them all in here for one article for easy access. Here is what I wrote on the first one:
Bob Dylan has influenced me since I was 7 years old. I remember reading his liner notes and listening to him sing, "I was shadow boxing early in the day..." as a tyke.
I recently had a dream where he appeared and we chatted and he encouraged me in my musical pursuits. I know it was just my subconcious borrowing what I need from a persona but it seems he is back there somewhere drifting around.
So I am going to try to publish a cartoon that occurs to me whenever I can in my images. A couple came to me on a Harriman hike yesterday.
I have never done cartooning before but I am sure that my art skills will leave the viewer speechless
