lillie's fashion sense

tonight, lillie really has a doozy of an outfit on.

this is the third outfit in an hour.  yes, she is very fashion-conscious. i don't let her read fashion magazines, preferring to let her create her own vision of beauty and color. here's the result tonight:

dora sandals (in favor over the red and purple elmo sandals)
snow white dress
hello kitty necklace
fuzzy purple hat
superwoman cape...
and riding on guiseppe, her caterpillar magic carpet

i feel so drab.

Jessie, I will enjoy this vision all day today! Thanks for sharing. This brings back wonderful memories of my daughter, who was an early fashion queen (still is). I have a picture of her similarly decked out with sunglasses and a straw gardening hat, poking out her tummy and exploding with pride.

Isn't it interesting how our life stage affects our appearance..... at Lillie's age, she can do this, and look GREAT! and when she is old, she will "wear purple, with a red hat that doesn't go...."

Hey - where can I get one of those capes? I just want to hang it on the wall. Having it close at hand would let me live with the illusion that I am indeed a super-mommy - able to tackle toilet muck with a single swipe....okay, enough already ;) That kid's just too danged cute!

thanks, everyone!! i feel very drab next to lillie. when we're at the store (i HATE shopping), she's always begging me to get more colorful clothes. i like browns, blacks, blues, greens. we all need the superwoman cape, i think!
