Okay - I'm removing the suggestions for posting for critique - you free-spirited bunch you!

Just put it out there.

If it's not an essay, but you think it's funny - share it with the group.

If you don't want to be rated let them know.

If really want people to pick it apart before you publish to all of Gather let them know.

Now - for goodness sakes someone MAKE ME LAUGH!!!!! I'm tired of looking at my own stuff....

I clicked "amusing musings" to see if there are any articles but just got your intro here and also other articles by you (yes, even ones that have nothing to do with amusing musings).

In any event, I have a random musing type article ready and I'll put it as a tag but I'm not sure if that automatically makes it part of a "group" folder. This is a brave new world for me. The piece is called "The Trouble with Movies" and I'm about to let 'er rip... (clear the aisles, would you?).

KR - I think you just need to click on the group button when you publish. But who am I to say - I've somehow managed to hook up nearly everything I ever published without trying.....
