In working for freedom and the restoration of the Constitution, I've worked with several political groups. One of the Ron Paul groups to which I belong sent out this message which gives evidence of the election being challenged in the Supreme Court. Neither Obama nor McCain were natural born citizens as the Constitutional requrement states. Why don't we hear about this in the media?
And the Main Stream Media is COVERING IT UP!

Most Americans don't realize it yet, but this Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court will review whether Barack Obama is indeed constitutionally eligible to become the next president.
The justices will hold a conference on the question and consider the case for formal review.
The case is brought by Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the New Jersey secretary of state, and questions whether Obama is a "natural-born citizen" as required by Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution.
If four of the nine justices vote to hear the case in full, oral argument may be scheduled.
It would seem a simple matter to resolve.
Barack Obama could have put this issue to rest long ago by producing a complete birth certificate from Hawaii. Instead, he has chosen to stonewall the matter, citing a website post of what can only be characterized as a partial representation of a birth certificate - one that has been criticized as a forgery.
Whether the birth certificate posted on various websites is genuine or not is almost beside the point as to his eligibility. Since Hawaii was known to register foreign births in the 1960s, the portion of the certificate released by the Obama campaign proves nothing, since it does not reveal such details as the hospital in which he was allegedly born.
Meanwhile, some of Obama's own Kenyan relatives claim to have been present at his birth in Mombasa.
This controversy, which some have dismissed as frivolous, is as serious as the literal meaning of the Constitution itself.
As I have stated before, I have little doubt a thorough investigation will prove Obama is qualified to serve the office of the presidency as a "natural-born citizen." I don't believe his campaign would ever have been successful with the specter of legal ineligibility hanging over his head.
Nevertheless, I think it is imperative to be faithful to the Constitution and to offer the American people full disclosure on such a fundamentally important matter.
Clearly, Obama doesn't think so.

Do the justices have the courage to face up to this question?
I believe they will be much more likely to do so - to take this matter seriously - if they see real demonstrations of public interest. I know of no better way for you to show that interest than to sign WND's petition.

The Supreme Court's website listed the date for the case brought by Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the Secretary of State in New Jersey, over not only Obama's name on the 2008 election ballot but those of two others, Sen. John McCain and Roger Calero.
The case, unsuccessful at the state level, had been submitted to Justice David Souter, who rejected it. The case then was resubmitted to Justice Clarence Thomas. The next line on the court's docket says: "DISTRIBUTED for Conference of December 5, 2008."
Jeff Schreiber at America's Right has followed this case closely. His post today reports:
As for New Jersey firebrand and attorney Leo Donofrio, his application for an emergency stay was denied by Justice Souter, Donofrio was able to refile and resubmit it to the Justice of his choosing, and properly did so. Today, the docket for his action shows that after being put before Justice Clarence Thomas, the application will be discussed by the Court in a December 5, 2008 conference.
Normally, during their term, the Supreme Court Justices conference on Wednesday (typically, but not always) and review the various petitions and applications before them, deciding which of the many such proceedings should be heard by the Court. I suspect that we could soon see a similar entry on the docket for Berg's case as well.
Now, this does not mean that the Court has decided to hear either of these matters and, in fact, is fairly typical when it comes to the process. Still, for those hoping to have these cases heard on their merits, for those who feel these issues are more about the United States Constitution than Barack Obama, this is a step in the right direction.

Wikipedia, quoting the 14th Amendment: "The Fourteenth Amendment mentions two types of citizenship: citizenship by birth and citizenship by law (naturalized citizens): 'All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.'"

The Constitution of the United States mandates that only "natural-born citizens" may hold the office of President. That phrase meant something very specific at the time the Constitution was drafted, namely, people born in the U.S., that are not subjects of any other nation. Mr. Obama was, according to him, born of a father that was a subject of Great Britain, and therefore, according to British law at the time, himself a subject of another nation, and not a "natural-born citizen", and cannot legally hold that office.
At least, that's the scenario a certain law suit the Justices will be examining and discussing on Friday, advances. So, the question that comes to my mind is; Why are you here mocking people that feel it is important to adhere to the highest Law of the land? Are you in favor of ignoring the Supreme Court if they rule that case is correct?
That statement is incorrect, based on case law as well as scholarly writings regarding the meaning of the words in the Constitution as written when written. (And I don't mean the toxic websites that are hawking this stuff.) Where that sentence runs off the rails is the last subordinate phrase, which would be correct if only it read something like "...that are not heads of state of another nation, or their diplomats, or enemy soldiers occupying a piece of US territory." I understand that you differ with that view. I do agree with you that if the SCOTUS puts this on their calendar, they may at some date after Friday look at Article II, if they can get through standing or the fact that Mr. Donofrio was a month late in filing his papers in NJ.

Well, it certainly is grave and sombre, that the President elect may be deceiving the entire nation, about his eligibility to take the oath of office legally. And I don't believe you are not concerned, as well.

I've mentioned in other threads that I read some of these articles because they reveal interesting things about people who, despite issues that I have with content, I know to be intelligent and capable of independent thought. Sorry, Brook, can't agree with that one. It's not Obama's job to genuflect to every crazy conspiracy theory you or anyone else can cook up. And if you were informed on the issues and the nature of Hawaiian birth certificates, you'd realize that any action the Obama would take, even at his own initiative, would likely not be dispositive. It has to do with the informal nature of birth certificate recording procedures during the period when Obama was born. The conspiracy theorists would pretty likely not be satisfied with any release.
These types of statements--attempts to pin some kind of character deficit on Obama for questions that are sewn of the whole cloth by people with dubious credentials and agendas--are a form of demagoguery that, in the end, lowers the level and quality of dialogue on public issues and are a distraction from the attention that should be placed on the real and serious problems facing the nation.
I caption these comments on the abject absence of a whit of evidence that there is anything legally wrong with Obama's election. If you don't have anything, don't even bother. I can't hear you.
Have you noticed none of his staff or Obama himself will publicly proclaim he was born in Hawaii? They keep saying the issue is trivial -- rather than actually answer the charge. The issue is not going away, and there are some people that will never be satisfied at this point. However, he's going to have to produce the certificate sooner or later, and at some point will be asked if he was born in Hawaii? I mean, no President is too busy or should have a problem being asked if they are Constitutionally qualified.
