While Obama takes a lot of heat for his relationship with Bill Ayers, what does this say about the University of Illinois? They consider him to be a distinguished professor. What do they have to say about his past? Does anyone know if they have issued a statement?

And why wouldn't they?
What does it say about everyone else who worked on the board? Apparently a Reagan close friend, a Nixon State Department high ranking official, conservative republicans, other distinguished citizens who love America served with Ayers on that board and other boards throught the years.
This story is not going anywhere because it's bogus. At first, when they talked about this way back in April and during that debate with Hillary, it looked like a valid issue. The more you look like it, the more bogus it is.
The story is for low information voters. The many who will not google Ayers and his relationship with the board. If everything you read is from the far right and the RNC you will not know anything about this.
It's like reading about Keating 5 from Obama's new site on keatingeconomics. Both are gross amplifications of the real story.
It's a matter of perspective.
BS, when you post a couple of sentences that tell me nothing, I have to "assume" a lot. The first thing I can "assume" is that you are too lazy to type an article. The second thing I can "assume" is that you either don't want to share your opinion, or you want us to do it for you.
I think your mistake was in "assuming" that when people click on a link they don't expect to find information.

''I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. ''I feel we didn't do enough.''
So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? ''I don't want to discount the possibility,'' he said.
NY Times Article
Is he repentant? No
Did he make atonement? No
Why should he receive forgiveness?
Just like the debates last night, I asked a question and you all rambled on with your talking points without answering the question. Many of you thought that the question was irrelevant. And it may be. But, McCain brought it up again last night. I can only assume he is desperate.
McCain put his foot in his mouth on the abortion issue during the debate. In my book Am I the Only One That Signals? ( www.bbotw.com ) I discuss abortion. I included the subject of abortion in a book of comic essays not because it’s funny; it isn’t. But, because the next president of the U.S. may be selected solely on his position on abortion. And it looks like I may be right again. Like Obama, I am pro-choice. That doesn’t mean pro-abortion.
Let’s keep this friendly so please don’t call me BS, even though I may be full of it.
