The Word

"All kingdoms

and empires

in all

the lands

far flung

under the

sun rest

upon the

written word"

the father

said to

his son

then laughed

and asked

"but which

word is

the one?"

The boy

smiled and

shyly said

"the one

shining in

Mum's eyes"
