I would boil the chicken with salt, pepper until tender. Remove the meat from the bones and shred. Using the oil, flour, broth from the cooked chicken and milk make a white sauce, stir in the chicken, cilantro and peas for a creamed chicken and pour into baking dish. Make a biscuit dough from the flour, milk and baking powder and put in dollops on the creamed chicken...bake until biscuit topping is brown and puffy. Toast the sesame seeds in the oven. Slice the pears in half and core...bake slowly in the oven until tender and cut side is carmalized...sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for dessert.
Beautifully done, Sue! I am still trying to come up with something...

Take out my trusty crockpot, I'll drop the whole chicken in with 1 cup of water. Slice some onions and toss them in too. Turn it on low. See ya later, I'm off to work.
Now that I'm home after 9 hours of work, the aroma of the cooked chicken is driving my dogs and husband mad. I dump the frozen peas in the crockpot with the chicken and get out a deep skillet. I put in a couple of drops of olive oil (that shouldn't count as an extra ingredient) and begin to separate the onions I sliced earlier. I left them as rings instead of chopping them up. I begin to heat up my skillet and put the onion rings in. Meanwhile, I'm cutting the pears in half, peeling, and de-seeding them. After my onions have carmelized, I place the pears in the skillet face down with a little bit of water. While the pears are cooking, I attempt to get the chicken and peas out of the crockpot. If you've ever cooked a chicken all day in the crockpot, you know what I mean. I get a bone instead of the chicken. PERFECT! I scoop all the chicken out and put all the peas in a bowl. The chicken needs to picked from the bones and cartilage. I quickly chop the cilantro and set it aside. The chicken is then placed on plates with a spoonful of peas. I then sprinkle some pepper (salt causes coronaries) and cilantro on top of the chicken and peas. The pears are slightly browned on both sides so I remove those from the skillet and on to the plates. Drizzle a bit of the extra pear juice over the chicken and there you have it!
LOL, Chelle! That's the spirit!
extras: plain yogurt, divided
flour
yeast
The night before, mix 1 cup yogurt with cilantro and salt and pepper. Slather over chicken, cover tightly and refrigerate.
Pour about 1 cup water into the slow cooker and cook chicken on low 6 hours. Toss in a handful of cilantro and the peas about 1 hour before chicken is done. Remove chicken from cooker and remove from bones. Shred. Toss with additional yogurt, salt and pepper and more cilantro.
Remove peas from cooker and place in a serving bowl.
Meanwhile, mix flour, yeast, salt, water and yogurt and a little juice from 1 pear to form a dough. Let rise til double. Shape into rounds, press on sesame seeds and bake til puffy and golden.
Spread chicken and yogurt mixture over bread and serve with peas from the cooker.
For dessert, simply broil the halved pears til nice and caramelized.
Perfect timing, Renda.
Dice some parboiled russet potatoes (extra #1) then roast in olive oil in a 400-degree oven. Cook the peas according to package directions and serve on the side.
For dessert, quarter and core the pears. Cook slowly in 1 bottle dry red wine (extra #2) and honey (extra #3) until soft.

This one takes creativity. Toast the sesame seeds in olive oil. Reserve the cooking oil and flash fry the cilantro in it. Grill the pears, blanch peas, and carmelize some shallots (1) and add roasted garlic (2) and deglaze with a dry chianti (3) stuff this entire mixture in the cavity of the chicken. Brush on the cilantro mixture and bake until brown and moist. Oh yeah delicious
