What would you make with the following list of five ingredients?
1. fresh potatoes
2. chipotles in adobo
3. fresh grapes
4. coconut
5. refrigerated cheese tortellini
You also get to use water, salt and pepper, oil and up to three other ingredients.
Can you be stumped?

I'd cook the tortellini for lunch and save the rest for supper because by them you'd have said what you'd do. And then I'll know what to do.
Extras: chicken broth, bag of frozen mixed veggies, brown sugar
Simmer potatoes, tortellini and chipotle sauce in broth til potatoes are cooked, about 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper as needed.
Place grapes in oven proof dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and coconut. Broil til sugar is caramelized and coconut browns.
You did some interesting stuff with it though. Thanks Shannon.
No way, Sue! I thought this would be the easiest I have done so far.
apples, mayonaise, heavy cream
I would cook the potatoes until tender, add the chipoltes, salt and pepper and puree in the blender. Reheat and stir in the cream for a potato soup. Chop the apples, add the grapes, coconut and a little mayo for a salad. Deep fry the tortellini in the oil, add salt and pepper. Appetizer, fried tortellini...with soup and salad for lunch.dinner.
Sounds great, Sue. I thought for SURE this would be an easy one!
extras: cool whip, walnuts, canned diced tomatoes
Mix cool whip, nuts, grapes, coconut. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
In oil, fry potatoes til golden. Toss in tortellini and fry til pasta starts to brown. Stir in tomatoes and chipotle. Simmer for a few minutes to meld flavors.
Why not, Lynn? Other fruits taste good broiled.
2. chipotles in adobo
3. fresh grapes
4. coconut
5. refrigerated cheese tortellini
cream, canned tomatoes, butter
cook the potatoes in boiling water, mash the potatoes with cream and butter. Heat tomatoes, 1/2 c. water chopped chipoltes and adobo and tortellini until cooked, add salt and pepper. Saute grapes and coconut in butter serve on the side, spoon tortellini sauce over potatoes.
Too much starch??
And Sue S. Enjoyed your menu and thought of a way you might be able to use the cream for your mayo use and then have another ingredient if you wanted to. I was thinking you could use the cream straight as a binder if your apples were tart. Or if they were dessert apples but not too sweet you could made some spple or white grape puree or juice and mix with the cream to to make a tangy binder. The main danger I see here would be turning the cream dark with the apples which might not look too appetizing.

Layer spinach then poatoes, then chicken'
Could make dressing out of grape juice, oil, and coconut juice, but I don't think it would be needed due to oil already on potatoes and spice from adobo.
***Caramelized pineapple***
Grill pineapple.
***Fizzy Coconut Juice***
Grape juice, coconut juice, San Pellegrino.
***Frozen White Grapes in Toasted Coconut Nests***
Wash and freeze grapes separately. Toast grated coconut and cool. Make coconut nest shape and put some frozen grapes in the center.
