Marinate cod in green chiles and dressing. Bake til flakes easily.
Meanwhile, mix a gin martini and have a s'more for dessert!
Extra ingredients- marshmallows and chocolate for the s'mores!
Ewww!!!
For newbies, how do you play??? Gin martinis and s'mores???? WHAT!!!
Margaret says mix a few green chilies in italian dressing and dip the fish. Coat with crushed graham crackers. Then pan fry . This will have a sweet and savory effect.
Now she says to do a gin and balsamic reduction sauce, to cover your fish, very very lightly drizzle this on at last minute.
With the oil and salt allowed by rules she has made a vinaigrette, adding olives, pepper, and vinaigrette to her salad mix. She says to put them on a square plate with the fish just overlapping the bistro salad. Margey says she wonders if this is a good job. She was a professional cook before Mr Parkinsons slapped the tar out of her.
Marianne, you have to use everything in the meal, but you can also use up to 3 other things.
The gin is for everyone if it's my family we're talking about.
Fantastic use of the graham crackers in breading, Angela. And a balsamic and gin reduction sounds fabulous! Margey did well!
LOL! I was thinking that same thing, Sue. Slim pickins here.
Trade the canned chiles for a couple of stout Poblanos, roasted and peeled.
Trade the cod for a chunk of sharp cheddar.
the Italian dressing for canned red enchilada sauce
the grahm cracker for 2 large flour tortillas....Put the cheese in the pepper, wrap in the tortilla fry in oil until crunchy ,turn so that all sides done. Place in casserole dish with enchilada sauce and more cheese grated on top. Oven @375 for 8-10 mim..serve with tequila....haha! sorry for the 360....the cod and gin just wasn't doin' it for me!
Ewww, Arlene!
Anytime, Amanda.
Drink enough of the gin to make you two sheets to the wind, eat some graham crackers so you don't get too light-headed, THEN serve yourself some fish!
