I love cheap & easy recipes - I am all about cheap & easy (no comments please you dirty minded fools).
I prefer recipes with less than 5 ingredients and less than 5 steps and that cost less than $5 to throw together (hopefully in less than 5 minutes, too!). Here is a favorite quickie appetizer recipe for when you're having company...
Cheesy Snack Bites
1 (4 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
1/4 cup chopped green chilies, drained
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Remove dough from can. DO NOT UNROLL DOUGH. Cut into quarter-inch slices; place slices on a pampered Chef baking stone (I use my Medium Bar Pan for this recipe). Top each slice with green chilies, garlic powder and cheddar cheese; press gently into dough. Bake 8 to 13 minutes or until light golden brown.
Serves 8-10

It is important to bake them on stoneware. If you do them on an aluminim pan or on tin fiol, they get gummy and nasty on the bottom.
I do have a pizza pan with lots of little holes in it. I'll try the recipe with those and pray to the gods of baking for divine intervention.
When I left my ex-husband...I was the one who moved out of the house. I packed up the kids' rooms, then I packed up all the Pampered Chef tools from the kitchen, then I packed up my clothes/shoes/etc. You can see where my priorities were - LOL
Glad they turned out well for you!
