Many booklovers across Gather have already participated in the Coffee Break Moments chat series. Thus far you've joined together in live discussions to talk about:
Your Favorite Books to Read on Vacation
Your Favorite Fictional Character from a Book
We'll continue this series on Thursday @ 9PM ET over the next few weeks in Books.gather.com. But Gather wants to hear your ideas for chat topics on books. Tell us in the comment field below what you'd like to talk about for book discussions with the Gather community. Who knows – your idea could be used in next week's chat!
Don't forget to also join us in the Gather Book Club, Tuesdays @ 9PM starting September 30th. We'll be discussing the book Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen in Books.gather.com.

I just orderd a cook book with innovative slow cooking recipes along with a 7 quart stainless steel slow cooker from Wolfgang Puck from HSN. There'll be lots of parties, football get-to-gethers and holiday invites.
Moms might like suggestions for cookie baking with their kids.
We all might have lots of cookbooks - but which one is the one you always go to?
If you're still doing them in October, maybe a Halloween themed book chat discussing the horror genre - everything from Stephan King's Cujo to Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Maybe I can join in on the next one. :)
One of my all time favorite books is Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, so that's certainly one I'd have to suggest.
Also halloween time the Vampire Chronicles might be a great one to consider. (Another favorite)
Also, vampires, of course. :-)
My favorite Character Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer. I cried when the DA Jill Bernhardt was murdered.
After I am done this series I am going to read Tess Gerritsen: The Bone Garden, then Patricia Cornwell : Predator

My suggestions would be based on my preference for nonfiction that reads like a great novel (versus nonfiction that reads like a textbook), nonfiction that has a story to tell. That's hard to find because nonfiction is usually just informative.
I've read some great ones so would be able to talk about them.
For people who regularly get up early in the morning for work. a chat from 9 to 10 is too late.
I'm looking forward to discussing Water for Elephants during the book club chat but won't be able to participate the entire hour because that's just too late.

In the tradition of Marisa de los Santos and Anne Tyler, a moving debut about a young mother’s year of heartbreak, loss and forgiveness . . . and help that arrives from unexpected sources.
38 year-old Janie LaMarche had everything she wanted: a comfortable home, two adorable young children, and a strong marriage to a good man. Her life felt as secure as the circle of Robby’s embrace . . . until the day Robby left his bike helmet at home, and in a single fateful moment left Janie and the family behind forever.
Four months after Robby’s death, Janie remains immobilized by grief. Despite the earnest efforts of friends and family, the forward motion of her life has ground to a halt, and she can’t escape the grip of her memories. Not even the changes in her own children, four year-old Dylan and baby Carly, can shake her out of her stubborn vigil.
Check it out!
