Congrats on the occasion of your fifth marriage!
And under the wire before your 40th birthday too!
The pool amongst my friends said it’d never happen!
After all... you’d told more than one that ‘you are a loner’.

However, the general consensus was that you had left one ‘O’ out of that word.

 

 

I really hope you are happy, if no other reason to keep you from “going for it” again with somebody else under heartbreaking stress.

I'm on my second one, he is on his third and it's working just fine, thank you very much, nine months relationship, 7 months married, 53 and 65 years old, we are two *silly and grinning newlyweds here*

It wasn't me, Lloyd, it was poor choices on my part. The first one beat the crap out of me, the second one got two women pregnant at the same time while we were married. I've got a good guy now and I have held onto him for 14 years come October. I'm a slow learner, I guess.

I was married for a year when I was a kid--then 21 years and had a family.

My ex-co-worker was married seven times. But when she tells the whole story, it's pretty obvious (from her point of view at least) that it wasn't really her fault. She just went through a string of really bad luck. Two were brothers though so that's got to tell you something...

Number five is the charm for me. Although I was 61 before that marriage happened. The way I see it, it took me that long to get it right. If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. It's worth it.

Uncle Bob is on number 7 ( her first) she is the first who wasn't beautiful and the first to really love him they have been married for over 15 years now. I don't think any of his other mariages lasted 5 years. Took the old fart 6 times to get it right ??
