
Today's reading comes from some of my favorite verses in the bible. My husband and I recently purchased a bible for my 12 year old sister-in-law, and we chose these verses for the dedication page. I think they are the perfect summation of a prayer for any Christian. It brought tears to my eyes, reading it and thinking of sweet KyLi. Here are the verses:
A Prayer for the Ephesians14For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Those people who place their total trust and faith in Him, really do seem to be filled with His love and the gift of His Holy Spirit.
He prays that Christ may dwell in our hearts
He prays we would be rooted and established in love
He prays that we would have power
He prays that we would understand the depth of Christ's love
He prays that we would be filled with the knowledge of God
Paul was a prayer warrior. If we were to pray like this for others and for ourselves, I wonder what effect it would have on both the church and ourselves?
