If you don't fidget much,
If you are calm and self-assured,
If you feel safe as a pedestrian,
But need more speed as a walker,
Then you'd, perhaps, like the idea
Of standing erect as a stork
And running fast as an ostrich
Along park lanes and avenues,
River banks and sandy beaches,
On a two-wheeled platform,
Holding on to a lever with handles.
Such vehicle has all but a name,
Maybe you'd give it a poetic one!
