The figures are in for the number of viewers last night who watched Governor Palin's speech.

The Republican Party's Vice Presidential Candidate had as many viewers for her speech as the Democratic Party Presidential Candidate had for his.

37.2 million people watched the Palin speech!!!

The news media, for all their attempts to discredit Sarah Palin, have caused people to take notice.

And I just remembered another statistic shared last night. Did you know that Sarah Palin got more votes for Governor of Alaska than Joe Biden got in his bid for President?

Isn't it? And did you know that the teleprompter wasn't working? And by the time they got it working, it was behind where she was in the speech? And still she was awesome!!! (Unlike Obama who cannot work without the teleprompter.)

I've talked to a lot of people today who were really fired up by her speech last night. I know there are those who are trying to discredit her, but I think they wouldn't be trying so hard if she wasn't a threat.

Marilyn, I was very impressed with Palin's speech last night! She really related to everyone in the crowd by essentially saying she is a mother, wife and has ups and downs just like the average person. It was great hearing her say that she will be an avocate and voice for those parents with special needs kids. The supposed scandals the competition are dredging up are not succeeding in discrediting her since she still continues to have a 90% approval rating among Alaskan residents and has done more in 20 months as governor than her predecessors, which says a lot about who she is and what she stands for.

I think her accomplishments speak as to the type of person she is and you know that she is someone you can count on to get the job done properly. She is definitely one very strong lady that has proved herself to be a real hero to the state of Alaska.
