Maureen Dowd. I can't believe that I somewhat agree with her. Never happened before. But I think she's right on this one.
Dem's are full of bad bile. Towards Republicans, towards the elecorate as a whole, toward the internet and talk radio, and even toward other Democrats. And it shows.
You wanna see hate.........If McCain wins, the Dems will be mad at all of the above mentioned groups. If Obama wins, you are going to see the Dems take this nation down the drain so fast with their socialist adgenda it will blow your mind.
They won't rip on Minnesota much because this The Peoples Republic of Minnesota, a blue state, which is close to their hearts.
They will find a ton of things to rip the republicans on, both petty and warranted, because they hate Republicans.
Much of your critique cuts both ways.
I think the Dems are doing pretty well, although there are too many musical intervals. How about the governor of Montana? Of course, Hillary was superb. The beautiful thing about the Dems is that they continually fall on the side of the middle class. The Republicans fall on the side of big business even today. Both parties have their plusses and minuses. I think that in the end, it is time for a change. The Republicans had their chance and many of their ideas were never actualized. It's a shame. They had it all and squandered it. I blame Tom DeLay for that. The Republicans Congress of the early decade was in the perfect position to advance their cause and they blew it. I'm not saying I want to see everything they believe in come to fruition. I'm saying that they had the perfect set up and didn't come through for their voters. I think that many voters will remember this in November.
Great picture. It sums it up best.
