6. Increase your candidate's visibility by wearing buttons or having a lawn sign put up in your yard.

4. Ask if your friends, family or neighbors need help getting to the polls and offer assistance.

I am backing John Hall here in the 19th Congressional District here in New York...he and I do not see eye to eye on every issue, but overall we are a good fit, and I think that is another thing people should look for when wanting to help someone get elected. Find someone you can relate to, someone who seems to fit most of your own core political values and beliefs. No one is going to see your way of thinking on EVERY ISSUE, and to think that is unrealistic...instead, I encourage citizens to evaluate all of who a candidate is and represents, then make their choice.

For those who think you have heard the name before, John Hall used to be with the band Orleans back in the 70's. He's gone on to be a true grass roots on important issues as both a School Board Member, and County Commissioner.
